  13. Beautiful post! Tears for you and understanding from the heart of another imperfect wife, mum, step-mum and person... sigh! I love your honesty and sincerity. We all make mistakes, we all disappoint and I believe we are often our worst critics! Remember to look also for the good things you do, the lovely things you say and the smiles you bring to faces like mine with your beautiful posts.
The owl is as gorgeous as the story behind it. :)

  15. This is SOOOO precious! I adore the picture and your honesty!

Awhile back you posted on my blog-

" Maybe you're not young enough to remember the show 'Bewitched' ? When I was all of 7 or 8 I used to wish that I could click my fingers and my father (who'd passed away when I was 5) would appear, even if only to me. I wish I could click my fingers and make your daughter appear - your heart must be really hurting. As a parent of two young ones I can only say, as hard as it is to hear, that parenting is hard, REALLY hard. Maybe God's just waiting. (And I hate that that sounds so philosophical and that I actually know what I'm 'preaching'. I don't.)"

Oh I LOVE bewitched!!! She was fabulous! I know what you mean. I so often just want it now. The journey is remodeling me. It wont be easy for sure. I want to be ready. be the Mommy God has in mind. So I will wait and work and learn. Thanks for your care, support and time to write me. it means so much...

I just wanted to let you know that I have read and reread that over the past few weeks and it has brought me such encouragement. Thanks for you insight and your words. Thanks for taking the time to write them. I needed them more then you know. I hope you have a wonderful day!

  16. That really is all you can do- be the best for them. They only really want our love & approval & support. Giving it to them is just as rewarding for us as it is them. You did good!!!
