Ha! I know that feeling. Sometimes it all works out and then it seems that i can't get the simplest cake done without it being stuck in the cake pan or just not tasting the way I thought it would.
It certainly looks delicious!! And I agree with Karen... add some sauce/icecream (depending on whether it was savoury or sweet). It often dies the trick with a bland tasting pie :)
Sorry to hear that things didn't go according to plan... but your pie does look delicious.

ReplyDeleteAnother one down to experience, not wasted if you can improve the next effort....maybe a crumble/quiche which takes less time than a pie?
