It goes so quickly, the time. As far as grieving, it is well justified. There are all types of grief and reasons for grieving. There isn't just one definition my friend :)
Deeply thought and very true. I must admit though that having had many children there is a great sense of time moving on just right, as if I've had my fill and don't grieve as I may/would have if things had been different (and we very nearly did stop at two). Life is interesting.....
Time does fly past so quickly and our children do grow into more independent beings... then into teenagehood and adulthood. From one who has all adult children, I understand that feeling. But in saying that, I have 3 of my 4 who I see and hear from at least once a week. My oldest daughter (28) is married but still calls every week without fail, my youngest son (21) calls every 2-3 days and drops in at least once a week and my youngest daughter (20) still lives at home so I see her every day. And then there is my prodigal (23) who I haven't seen in almost 2 years (and my grandchildren aged 1 & 2 1/2)... I may never see them. As Karen said... life is interesting.
It does not fell like a punch in the gut but actually your words are just simple truth. I believe it's OK to grieve yesterday and yet still embrace each new day as if there is no tomorrow...making the most of every moment. Yesterday is done my friend, but today can still look pretty good even still!
Making this mom that has been up since 4 am baby soothing feel a whole lot more appreciative. Thank you.
