Oh dear. A drama to look back on in years to come. You are a mother who cares enough to teach a good but hard lesson in good stewardship and consequences. It's unlikely any pink (old or replacement) lunchbox will be left at school again.
You did what any Mum would do under the circumstances... and that makes you a great Mum. A lesson learned in looking after belongings will hopefully be the result. And, she will survive this "terrible ordeal". Believe me, I can say this with certainty! You are a great Mum. Your posts prove that every time I read them :)
